We are happy to announce that manual moderation is now available on Now4real. Messages are ephemeral in Now4real so that they disappear automatically from the public after a predefined time (ranging from 1 minute to 4 weeks). But you may want to delete a message before it naturally expires.

You just need to log into your Now4real Dashboard and go to the Chat Transcripts session. From there, you can search messages and delete them. As soon as you delete a message in the Dashboard, it is instantly deleted from all users’ browsers. This is a real-time operation.

Furthermore, you have the option to mute the author of a deleted message. You can choose how long muting should last. You can unmute any user at any time from the Sites section of the Dashboard. Go to the Settings of your site and open the Manual Moderation tab. You will find the list of muted users and you can unmute them.
