We are delighted to announce that another long-requested feature has been added to Now4real. You can now define your own list of words that should be blocked in your pagechats (the chats hosted on your website). And you get full control over posted links.
This is in addition to the automatic profanity filter, which blocks bad words in any language, but is paid separately on all the plans. On the other hand, the new custom filter is included with the Premium and Enterprise plan.
Open the Settings of your site from the Now4real Dashboard, then go to the Custom Filter section. Here, you can add the blocked words to the text area. As soon as you click Confirm, the changes will be immediately applied to your users.
You can choose if you want to block a message entirely if it contains a blocked word, or if you prefer to just censor that word and replaced it with the 🤬 emoji.
When a user includes a link in a chat message, which does not point to a page of your site, you can decide if you prefer to remove it, display it as non-clickable text, or make it clickable.
Please remember that your guests and moderators remain free to post any words and links.
We hope you enjoy this feature. As always, let us know your thoughts!
