🔔 Sound Notifications — Stay in the Loop, Effortlessly

A gentle, non-intrusive beep now lets you know when new messages arrive — perfect for when you’re multitasking but still want to stay connected.

The sound feature is smart by design:

• It only activates after you’ve posted a message (so only engaged users hear it).

• It triggers at most once every 10 seconds (never annoying).

• You can turn it off anytime from the dropdown menu.

• If the browser tab goes to the background, sounds continue only for a few minutes.

This small touch makes a big difference for people who want to stay part of the conversation without constantly checking the chat.

📝 Message Formatting — Markdown Support

Give your words some style! You can now format chat messages using simple Markdown syntax, making conversations clearer and more expressive.

Here’s what’s supported:

• **bold** → bold

• _italic_ → italic

• Two spaces at the end of a line → line break

• Bullet lists using *:

  • item 1

  • item 2

• Numbered lists using 1.:

  1. First

  2. Second

To enable Markdown, go to Dashboard → Settings → Widget → Chat → Message formatting.

Your chat should feel like it belongs to your site.
You can now choose the font used in the Now4real widget directly from your Dashboard!

Go to Settings → Widget → Appearance → Font, then follow the link to Bunny Fonts Picker. Select the font you love, copy its name, paste it in the Dashboard — and that’s it.

We’ll handle the rest, serving the font automatically to all your users.
